Hi there! How did you start with crypto trading?
I started to toy around with crypto later in high school. Thankfully, my journey started in good times, during a bull run, which motivated me to delve deeper into the topic of crypto and trading. I simply did not shy away from the complexity of it, and after the first few rounds of successful trades, I considered getting more involved and leveraging my passion, making it a professional career. But I didn’t plunge into that blindly. Starting with fundaments, I was continuously expanding my knowledge, learning more about technical analysis, which offered me a much larger perspective on the entire subject matter.
How did you proceed in your professional crypto trading career?
Well, my personal trading activities were going great, and I recognized the right time to move forward. I started to work at a Slovakia-based crypto community group. You can imagine it as a group of crypto enthusiasts whom this company was providing with crypto market insights, from educational content to market analysis and so on. They had clients who were paying for the VIP content, which helped them maximize their returns and understand crypto in depth. My job as a Trader was to keep my eyes glued to the crypto market, make those analyses, and contribute noteworthy content and insights for the VIP customers.
That sounds interesting. What followed your trading experience there?
After about a year, I decided to move forward with my own project - that’s when I got to know QORPO’s CBO, Sebastián. We met on the Telegram chat, and as we were talking things over, we came to the conclusion that we were going to launch our own trading group. We both had tangible experience with Trading, which resulted in Tradify, a trading group we have been keeping lively ever since its launch about two years ago. We had bullish times, we are enduring a bear market, but we are still making it through, helping our loyal customers make the most out of the trading. Most importantly, Tradify is not a crypto-exclusive group, we are also focusing on forex to broaden our possibilities.
Is this also one of the reasons why you joined QORPO Game Studio?
Yes, Sebastián asked me if I was interested in trying it out and offering my crypto and blockchain expertise in the blockchain gaming company. I was all up for that, albeit my primary focus changed. Until then, I was mainly a trader and crypto market analyst. My primary focus at QORPO is to recognize and target suitable business opportunities for the company. In a fast-paced environment such as this, it’s essential to have your eyes open and always think about possibilities, thanks to which you can expand your business. And it’s not just trading. As a blockchain developer with a diverse portfolio of products, QORPO needs to be a touch with the industry leaders, and my job is to research our potential partners and identify the possibilities of how to facilitate their solutions into our business model. Over the time I’ve been here, I analyzed over 1,500 crypto projects in order to determine their relevance and market prospects.
Another facet of my job is to administer our marketplace. I’m trying to come up with the best possible solution to stay ahead of the competition. I’m communicating with our development department in order to ensure the best possible quality.
How did your work evolve over the time you’ve been in QOPRO?
Right now, I’m more focused on the token-listing activities. I’m researching and analyzing relevant crypto communities that could help us promote the token, and I’m researching crypto-exchange possibilities. I’m also more involved in the execution of our NFT drops. Over time, I started to perceive the entire market from a more technical perspective, focusing more on business development and the expansion of technological possibilities rather than just an investment opportunity.
How long have you been in crypto, and what’s the biggest takeaway you learned over that time?
It’s been about six years now. I started to take crypto more seriously around 2017, and ever since then, I’ve been overtly active in trading, analytics, and market research. Probably, the most valuable skill I learned is to recognize perspective projects from scams and see the business opportunity where others don’t. Over six years, you become comfortable with telling fake projects from businesses with impactful solutions and lively communities. And most importantly, you can effectively work with charts.
