Hey Citizens, we're excited to introduce a range of enhancements and adjustments in the latest update to Citizen Conflict. This update focuses on refining gameplay mechanics, improving audiovisual elements, and balancing various aspects of the game. Here's a breakdown of the key changes.
New Features
Equippable Variants: Players can now equip weapon variants, hero variants, and profile pictures, enhancing customization options for a more personalized gaming experience.
Sound Enhancements: A slew of sound improvements has been implemented, including enhanced dashboard/UI sounds, revamped bullet sounds for improved directional awareness, new weapon reload sounds, updated slide effects, fixes to hero voice lines, and improved LMG sounds for a more immersive gameplay experience.
Visual Feedback: When your shields are hit, your screen borders will now emit a blue glow, and direct hits to HP will cause the borders to glow in red, providing clearer visual feedback during combat. Additionally, the hit marker has been reworked and improved for better accuracy.
Gameplay Adjustments
Hero Changes: Barbie has received a significant buff to her abilities, with a 50% increase in zone size and a 20% boost to slowing effects. Conversely, Thunder's ability has been nerfed, increasing the cooldown to 25 seconds and decreasing damage output by 20%.
Weapon Balancing: Gunplay has been refined with a 30% reduction in recoil across all weapons, resulting in an overall improved shooting experience. Dynamic spread based on different states such as walking, jumping, and aiming has been introduced, affecting weapon accuracy. Each weapon now boasts custom spread behavior, intricately connected to movement for a more responsive and immersive gunplay experience.
Specific Weapon Changes: AK74 no longer guarantees one-shot kills with headshots but deals 135 damage instead. Furthermore, Decon and SMGs have received increased ammunition capacities for better sustained combat: Vector from 20 to 30, MP5 from 20 to 30, Cyclone from 25 to 35, and Decon from 15 to 20.
UI and Text Improvements
Text Rework: All in-game texts have been reworked and adjusted for better clarity and consistency.
Visual Fixes: Incorrect scales of icons and fixed positions of asset previews have been rectified for smoother navigation and interface usage.
We're thrilled to bring these changes to Citizen Conflict, aiming to enhance your gameplay experience and provide a more balanced and engaging environment. We value your feedback and continued support as we strive to create an enjoyable experience for all players.
See you on the battlefield!
