- 5 Maps
- Progression System & Crafting
- 17 Weapons
- Optimized Game Design & Performance Improvements
Gameplay: Takeover with a Twist
We believe you’re already well-acquainted with our unique take on Conquest mode - a Takeover. Arm up for the capturing craze, as 2 to 3 teams will plunge into arenas, starved to take over as many strategic control points as (in)humanly possible. We have created 5 fine-tuned maps, some suited for 2 rivaling squads, some fit for the triple team face-off.
Yet this time, the progression system hits the floor along with numerous exciting weapons and gadgets for unlocking. By completing tasks and challenges, players will enjoy several motivational urges to accomplish their destructive inklings and score.
Player Progression System - Urge to kill gets rewards
Forget the tiring succession of fight-after-fight monotony. We roll out a series of tasks and challenges to keep things fresh and your foes rotten. You can level up your hero, unlock new weapons, and uphold your gaming experience with battle passes.
Weapon Task Progression
Every player begins their journey armed with default weapons and gadgets. To unlock a wider arsenal, players must undertake a series of specific tasks associated with each weapon. These tasks are conveniently accessible in the details of locked weapons. Additionally, the acquisition of new weapon types may necessitate the player reaching a certain account level.
Account Level Progression
The player's journey starts at level 1, and progression is achieved by accumulating experience points (XP). These experience points are earned through various in-game activities, including the completion of daily and weekly tasks, securing kills, emerging victorious in matches, and actively contributing to their team's success. As players advance through the levels, they unlock access to an array of new weapon types, gadgets, and a myriad of rewarding in-game assets.
Battle Pass
The Battle Pass augments the gaming experience by offering players the opportunity to obtain extra rewards, ranging from exclusive cosmetics to various in-game assets. To ascend through the tiers and access these bonuses, players must accumulate stars, which are earned by consistently winning games and diligently completing the daily and weekly tasks.
Alpha 4.0 Maps: or rather burial grounds?
One way or another, all five maps clutch perils and challenges deep within their DNA. Delve in, learn their history, and vie for the glory spot on the blood-stained grounds built to bury many.
New Pressburg - Cyberpunk Bratislava “Phoenixed”
- 2 teams - 3 control points
Pressburg is the historical name of the City of Bratislava, a Slovak Capital. In 2101, as a phoenix, Pressburg rose anew in a faraway land of Ether Islands, albeit in a kind of different fashion.
The new attire of Bratislava brought what the city was always all about — an amalgamation of brutalist Soviet shapes and the glowing lights of the futuristic architecture surrounding a cozy historical center. And the river below, as a canvas, reflects the sparkling glow of city lights blended with the fathomless stars above.
The outcast settlers from the heart of Europe couldn’t quench the urge to reminisce the splendor of the smallest, though cozy metropolis upon the Danube River. Thus, they made their home in their own way on Citizen Conflict’s Ether Islands.
Poseidon Hotel - Luxury Gone Foul
- 3 teams - 4 control points
Poseidon Hotel is tailor-made for reckless clashes and esports tournaments. It’s all guns blazing once you plunder the insides of this hotel with a dark history. Still up for giving it a shot. If you've already had your fair share of adrenaline rushes from the previous Alpha, you're likely familiar with the opulent yet cursed interior of Poseidon Hotel.
Towering above the glittering city, this once-exclusive haven for the elite has now been left in ruins, a victim of the havoc wreaked by rioters from the suburban streets. Does this resonate with your memories? Well, get ready for a fresh look in this lavish yet grimy structure that promises to enhance your combat experiences.
Elite Enclave: Noble houses for savage scum
- 3 teams - 4 control points
The Elite Enclave beckons you into the pristine residences of the upper echelon on Ether Islands. It's an opportunity to claim the luxury, opulence, wealth, and vanity that the richest residents enjoy. Delve into the homes of the wealthiest citizens, relishing the excitement of navigating rooftops, ziplining across the map, or launching into the air using numerous jump pads.
Arctic Lab - Fan-made Airfield
- teams - 3 control points
Gear up for a true trial of your skills and bravery at the Arctic Lab. This challenge is not for the faint of heart, as it combines a military base with desolate construction sites, all beneath the blazing sun. The Arctic Lab beckons for exploration, offering an opportunity for those who dare to accept its call.
As you step into the fray, the looming hangar presents itself as a formidable and waiting adversary. You must brace yourself for what lies ahead, as the mines of the Outerlands conceal sinister secrets buried deep within. The industrial harshness of the area creates a pervasive sense of urgency, demanding that you employ every resource at your disposal to survive. The Arctic Lab stands as one of the most unforgiving and challenging Citizen Conflict maps yet. You must be prepared to endure the scorching heat, confront the heavy machinery that surrounds you, and outmaneuver your enemies before they beat you down to the torrid soil.
With danger lurking at every turn, staying alert and keeping your wits about you is imperative. Only the bravest citizens will be able to stand their ground and emerge victorious in the face of such overwhelming odds. However, the rewards for success are significant - the chance to prove yourself as a true hero of your syndicate and the knowledge that you have accomplished something truly extraordinary in the face of such adversity.
District - Concrete, cargo, heat, destitution
- 2 teams - 3 control points
Welcome to the District, a battleground where a sense of foreboding emanates from the towering structures, shipyard echoes, and the gritty ambiance of construction sites. This meticulously designed map is crafted to harness the competitive spirit of Citizen Conflict, offering an immersive experience for players. As you step into this urban arena, you'll find yourself amidst a rapidly evolving metropolis, where every corner holds the potential for intense encounters.
The District is perfectly suited for accommodating three teams of four players each. In this challenging and dynamic environment, your squad will navigate the ever-changing streets of the metropolis, strategically positioning themselves to gain the upper hand. With a mix of close-quarters engagements, tactical opportunities, and the relentless backdrop of a city in transition, the District promises an exhilarating battlefield where skill and teamwork are paramount. Get ready to embrace the intensity of Citizen Conflict and stake your claim in the competitive fray on the streets of this emerging metropolis.
New Heroes: Unlikely Company Welded in Hell
All of the heroes you learned to love and despite in Alpha 3.0 will re-emerge in their own loathsome way to drill the foreboding cyber world. Divided into four classes blessed with special abilities and roles in team strategy, Citizen Conflict heroes bring back the clash of power-lust syndicates - KORPO, Hackhunters, and Midnight. Now, with three new crooks with questionable morals.
Billy - the bully of many wrong faces
Billy, hailing from New Vegas, is a wealthy and cunning individual known for his sharp wit and a manipulative, narcissistic streak that borders on sociopathy. He holds a prominent position in the social hierarchy, with a demeanor that exudes the confidence of a hardened tough guy, which earns him admiration among the battle-worn toughs of his circle. To some, everything he touches seems to turn to success, but to others, his influence leads to chaos and suffering, depending on one's perspective.
Billy earned his moniker, "Billy the Bully," for a reason. He consistently preys on those vulnerable, weird, disabled, or isolated. Billy the Bully's cruelty is often masked by a facade of sophistication, making it challenging to discern whether he's genuinely being kind or secretly devising a sinister prank.
Blinder - A child prodigy turned blighted
In the harsh Outerlands, survival is a constant battle, and Tohny, much like his parents, once worked as a miner, enduring long, grueling hours in the oppressive darkness. However, when night fell, he found solace in unleashing his violence upon anyone who even remotely seemed to provoke him, although what exactly provoked him was often a mystery.
His talents did not go unnoticed, and he was soon scouted by an agent of the Midnight Syndicate, which marked the transition of his favorite pastime into a full-blown career. Organized combat brought him not only substantial wealth but also a fearsome reputation. Those overseeing combat events quickly realized the immense potential in this young prodigy, and Tonhy readily embraced the opportunity.
In truth, he held a deep-seated disdain for humans and reviled the pervasive odors of sweat, decaying flesh, and human waste. To him, becoming a cyborg was almost a favor, offering a way to escape the limitations of his human form. Nowadays, he may have retired from the professional combat scene, but when the most formidable forces on the streets require a job to be done, Tony - now known as Blinder - remains their top choice.
Barb - nimble Barb-wired menace
Small in stature but mighty in spirit, Bard may appear adorable, but beneath that charming exterior lies a formidable force to be reckoned with. Her personality is a juxtaposition of flamboyance on the outside and an iron-clad reserve within. With impeccable marksmanship that rivals the best, Barb’s sharpshooting skills are best served with grace and agility that only a nimble dancer can possess.
When she's on the field, it's as if the world around her transforms into a stage, and every move becomes a death-mongering dance. She truly embodies the "it's dance o'clock" phrase as she twirls through the challenges that dare to cross her path, leaving no doubt that she's a force to be reckoned with. The air around her is vibrant with bullets, and the dancefloor adorned with bodies.
New Death-Spewing Guns
Don’t you worry; all the fine-tuned misery and death mongers from previous Alpha are back in the game. This time, though, we proudly present two new additions to the trailblazing arsenal of Citizen Conflict weaponry. All guns out - it’s time to shoot!
First up, the Amp, a double-barrel shotgun designed for devastating close-quarters combat. It packs a punch with massive damage at point-blank range, making it a force to be reckoned with in tight spaces. However, it's important to note that the Amp sacrifices accuracy for power at longer distances.
Next, we have the Cyclone, our all-new SMG. The Cyclone excels at delivering high damage in the short to mid-range combat scenarios. Its versatility in these ranges makes it a valuable addition to any player's loadout.
The Cyclone is a unique early access weapon exclusively available through the battle pass. Players who purchase the battle pass will gain immediate access to this weapon. Once the battle pass season concludes, those who purchased it will retain the Cyclone. As for free users, they will have the opportunity to unlock the Cyclone for free by completing a designated in-game task.
