Hello, Citizens!
We're thrilled to share the latest updates in Alpha 4.0.2 for Citizen Conflict. This update focuses on enhancing gameplay, fixing bugs, and improving overall performance. After a flaring week of trending on Epic Store, it’s time to present a fine-tuned Citizen Conflict experience with so much more to come in the near future. Let’s dive into the details:
Gameplay Enhancements
Weapon tasks have been reworked
We’ve decided to rework some of the weapon tasks as they seemed a bit too harsh for the players. We’ll be monitoring the feedback and adjust these even more if required by the community.

DM-7 & XM250 & Grenade Launcher are going to the Account progression rewards unlocked by reaching a specific level.
Heroes & Weapons hot fixes
This is our first balancing in the 4.0, yay! We’ve made some heroes and weapons more overpowered than we’ve originally wanted, thus we’re making some fix changes to improve the balance of heroes in the game at this moment.
Zuri:
Zuri’s Sentry Gun ability has been nerfed and fixed, as we’ve seen some recent abuse of the ability, therefore we’ve decided to significantly reduce the overall impact of the Sentry Gun.
players are no longer able to place more than 1 turret at a time Sentry Gun will be destroyed after death of player. Sentry Gun: From 12 to 4 per bullet.
Thunder:
Thunder’s cooldown ability has been nerfed as the cool down increases in order to limitate the ability spam.
Thunder Slam: Cooldown from 7s to 15s Hammer will get destroyed after the player dies.
Grenade Launcher:
Grenade launcher is a high risk high reward weapon in the eyes of game design, but there’s been no risk involved so far. We’ve decided to increase loading time, nerf the magazine and decrease the ammo available from the start.
Grenade launcher: Loading time increased by 100% (From 0.75s to 1.5s). Magazine decreased from 3 to 1. Starting ammo decreased from 15 to 10.
System Fixes
We’ve located the majority of the issues and are working on the fix of these in the upcoming days. Since the launch of Alpha on Tuesday 21st, November we have managed to fix the below mentioned.
- Multiplayer feature, forwarding damage-related data to clients, that caused server crashes is resolved.
- Performance issue of account progression, causing clients to retrieve correct XP points after re-login, has been addressed.
- General animation fixes of weapons and heroes.
- Updated all the in-game texts and descriptions for heroes and weapons.
- Problem with camera clipping into the character resolved.
- Resolved bug that caused shotgun ammo capacity to be really low.
- Scheduled end-time of weekly tasks is correctly shown.
Servers and Lobby & Gameplay
We’ve been working on extending the server coverage and also made the matchmaking server selection easier to find. We’ll test out the change of adding 3rd team to the Elite Enclave and see how the change goes with the community.
Chosen region, for server matchmaking, is now visible on the main Dashboard screen.
We’ve decided to add USA Servers on both the West and East coast.
- West coast - Oregon
- East Coast - Ohio
Added 3rd team in Elite Enclave map, making it a 3 team map.
We’re implementing a spawn protection feature that disallows reskilling on the spawn - once a player spawns, he is granted a 5 seconds immunity that’s canceled with the movement, but player is free to shoot and move camera.
What’s coming in the next update
We’ll be announcing a tournament for the community in the upcoming days!
We're committed to continually improving Citizen Conflict and appreciate your support and feedback. Keep battling, citizens!
