What is AneeMate?
AneeMate isn’t just another game; it’s a unique blend of a creature-extraction shooter and a nostalgic trip down memory lane, wrapped in the stunning visuals of Unreal Engine 5. In AneeMate, you’ll explore the mysterious Hidden Island, home to the adorable yet dangerous AneeMates—mythical creatures that you must de-corrupt, capture, protect, and empower. These creatures evoke the innocence of childhood pets but are in a world that's in serious trouble. It’s up to you to save their world from being destroyed.
Gameloop: Explore, Catch, Level Up
Your adventure begins on the Hidden Island, a mystical land full of secrets and dangers waiting to be uncovered. Whether you decide to team up with other players or venture out on your own, the island offers a rich and challenging environment As you explore, you'll face evil enemies and tricky landscapes, each testing your survival skills. Your mission is clear: explore every part of the island, find resources for crafting and Yipeess for capturing AneeMates, de-corrupt the AneeMates, catch them, and then leave through the portal. In future updates, every AneeMate you catch will be able to level up, gaining new abilities that could change your journey and the fate of Hidden Island.
Movement and Gameplay Mechanics
Navigating the expansive and dangerous terrain of Hidden Island requires more than just bravery. From the beginning of the game, you’ll have access to gliding and double jump as your basic movement mechanics, allowing you to move swiftly and efficiently through this challenging environment. As you explore the island, you'll also discover additional gadgets that can enhance your mobility, such as dash, blink, rocket boots, and grapple hooks, giving you even more ways to traverse the island’s varied landscapes and overcome obstacles.
In this pre-alpha version, you’ll start the game with a magic staff—a crucial tool for decorrupting enemies and mining crystals. As you explore the Island, you’ll find an array of gadgets and weapons scattered across the island. From Elemental Grenades to Rocket Boots, and weapons like the Pump Gun and Plasma Gun, each with five elemental types, you’ll need every advantage you can get to survive.
Save Them All!
The core of AneeMate is its rescue mission. The AneeMates are not just creatures to be caught—they are beings to be saved from a life of enslavement and corruption. As you explore the Hidden Island, you’ll come across Yipeess, small hopping creatures that play a vital role in your quest. However, you don’t start the game owning any Yipeess, so you’ll need to find them scattered across the map.
Once you’ve found a Yipee, it can be used to help capture an AneeMate. First, you’ll need to de-corrupt the AneeMate using your magic staff. Afterward, you can toss a Yipee at the de-corrupted AneeMate to attempt a capture. Be cautious, though—whether the capture is successful or not, the Yipee is lost forever once used.
Both AneeMates and Yipeess come in five different elemental types, such as fire, water, nature, electric, and psychic. Matching the element of the Yipee to the AneeMate you’re trying to capture increases your chances of a successful capture. This adds an extra layer of strategy to your quest, as you’ll need to carefully consider which Yipees to use on which AneeMates to maximize your chances of success. Every encounter becomes a tactical decision, making the rescue mission both challenging and rewarding.
But capturing AneeMates will be just the beginning for future game updates. Each creature you save will be able to level up and be customized through skill trees, enhancing their abilities and making them more formidable allies. Your human character will also have a skill tree, allowing you to learn new abilities and strategies as you progress. This dual leveling system ensures that both you and your AneeMates will grow stronger together, preparing you to face the increasingly dangerous challenges ahead.

AneeMate takes player ownership to the next level. In this game, everything you collect—from the AneeMates you rescue to the heroes you play and the resources you gather—will truly belong to you. Thanks to digital asset ownership, your experience in AneeMate will be uniquely yours. This means the AneeMates, weapons, and even your achievements will be your personal property, adding a new dimension of value and pride to your gameplay.
Pre-Alpha: Playable Characters and AneeMates to Save
The pre-alpha version of AneeMate offers a taste of the full experience. You’ll be able to choose from seven preselected playable characters. While character customization options are limited in this early version, future updates promise more characters and deeper customization, allowing you to personalize your avatar down to the finest details.
The island will be now filled with resources, gadgets, and 21 unique AneeMates waiting to be captured. You’ll also encounter a variety of crafting materials, food items, and other resources that will be crucial to your survival and success.
How to Play Closed Pre-Alpha
To participate in the AneeMate pre-alpha, follow these specific steps:

- Eligibility Requirements:
- To be eligible for the pre-alpha, your QORPO account or associated wallets must contain one of the following: * AneeMate Genesis Zero* A fully filled AneeMate Stickers Book Vol.1 or Vol.2**
- Simply ensure that these assets are in your QORPO wallet or associated wallets when you attempt to join the pre-alpha. No additional snapshots are required; just hold the required assets to gain access.

- As a Wanderer, your mission is to open the portal to the Hidden Islands, collect resources, find Yipeess, battle other players and NPCs, save the AneeMates, and ultimately find your way home.
