Community Wars Are Back!
Just like in the previous tournament session, Community Wars are here to instigate the ultimate competitiveness among regular players. Kickstart your domination journey from the day first and earn points in every match you play. The more points you get, the higher you’ll land on the leaderboard. The overall prize pool allocated for the Community Wars soars up to $1,000 and will be redistributed among the top 30 players. Community Wars will span throughout the entire Alpha 3.0, and winners will claim their glory spot once the third alpha test is over.
Team Wars
For the first time ever, you can fight as a team during the entire Alpha 3.0 season. The teams will range from a single, one-man-army player to squads of ten. You can team up your death brigade in the leaderboard section of your QORPO ID. Go to the “Team Leaderboard” section and click on the “Create Your Team” option on the lower right side of your screen. There you can comfortably search for players, send them invitations, and squad up a group of loyal citizens.
The prize pool will also be $1,000, but only the ten highest-ranking teams will see their prize. Climbing up the team leaderboard is simple. Every player of the team contributes to the cumulative points pool in each match played. Thus, team members don’t always have to fight together to earn points. Each match separately counts the team member’s points to the team’s leaderboard ranks.
Just like in the case of Community Wars, teams earn points from the day first until the end of Alpha 3.0. The 10 best-ranking teams will get their chunk from the prize pool.
Tournament Prize Pool Overview
For each category in the Alpha 3.0 tournament, both Community Wars and Team Wars, a prize pool of $1,000 will be available. We will reward the top 30 players in the Community Wars and the 5 highest-ranking teams in the Team Wars. The prizes will be allocated based on the following table.
How to earn in-game points
There are several ways how to earn points and boost your chances of winning plentiful prizes.
- Kill - Every time you kill an enemy, you will receive 100 points.
- Assist - Backing your allies up counts. Every time you assist in the game, you receive 50 points.
- Revive - On the Medic side of classes? Right, anytime you revive an allied player, you earn 100 points.
- Control Point Takeover - To take over a control point, you need to neutralize it, which takes 5 seconds, and then take it over, which leaves you with another 5 seconds. Afterward, you start earning 1 point per second per each captured control point.
- Instant Takeover Earning - When you take over a control point, you are rewarded 250 points.
- Control Point Neutralization - If you manage to neutralize enemies’ control point, you leave with another 100 points on your list.
- Defence - Defending your control points against enemies is well-rewarding, with 50 more points for you.
